EXPOSITION VIRTUELLE – Atelier les Mille Feuilles – Yuchen Guo

A sea creature being dragged out of water.

An ancient statue of goddess, falling/being salvaged.

A water spirit, merging/sinking.

The cursed hair, withered tress or struggling tentacles.

The holy aura, intact branches or relaxed naked gill.

The earth, the skin of lives.

The city buildings, the fishing net.

The organized quad face model topology, with Messy, disturbed tress.

The seemingly random Voronoi pattern, with inerratic fractal branches.

The eerie and harmony, ominous and holy, natural and artificial, neoteric and ancient, as one thing in different context, as one creature in different environment, forming the balance and the connection, the contrast and the combination.

The misalignment of parts, as the refraction between water and air, as the tech error of 3D print layer shifting, as the present relationship between human and nature.
